Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC.In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference.Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone.

He joined the Air Force the day after graduating high school, eventually rising to the rank of sergeant. He ended his 11-year military career during the first Gulf War in 1991. He continues to tour extensively in the U.S. and Canada, with highly acclaimed performances at festivals such as The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and Just for Laughs in Montreal. But the grand finale comes on September 1st with an epic lineup featuring Doug E. Fresh, Rakim, EPMD, Chubb Rock, and Monie Love, ensuring the series ends on a high note. As the summer heats up, so does the lineup with Stephanie Mills, The Whispers, 8 Ball & MJG, Scarface, Too Short, Trick Daddy, and Nappy Roots taking the stage in August. While a number of people contributed, the effort fell short of the amount required for construction. The funds collected were used to improve grades in a natural amphitheatre area on the property and a portable stage was used for community concerts.
